Le classifiche di fine anno

 Ed eccoci arrivati alle classifiche di fine anno. Prima di svelare quali sono stati i brani che ho preferito in questo 2012 molto travagliato, preferisco però fare alcune premesse.

La mia concezione di musica è al di fuori dagli schemi, se non fosse per far capire meglio di cosa parlo a chi non conosce certi artisti, non distinguerei per generi. Se la musica mi ha emozionato, è nella classifica, altrimenti no. Mi piace pensare a infinite classifiche di ogni appassionato di musica. 

E' da evidenziare anche che, se un brano è uscito recentemente, difficilmente sarà in alta posizione, perchè ha avuto poco tempo per entrarmi dentro.

Ci sono anche brani usciti su album del 2011 ma che hanno comunque avuto una gran rilevanza nel 2012.

Per ciò che mi riguarda due sono le cose importanti:

1) I brani che ho inserito in classifica per me sono quasi tutti dei numeri 1 perchè se con la quantità di musica elevata che ascolto, rientrano fra i 40/50 che ho amato di più, allora sono sicuramente dei fuoriclasse.

2) Il cd che per me sarebbe al numero 1 quest'anno è quello del Manuela Rock che mi è costato tanta fatica, tanto lavoro ma che mi ha dato una soddisfazione immensa. Lo lascio fuori dalla classifica per "conflitto di interesse". Specifico ancora una volta che però il Manuela Rock è stato per me una cosa pazzesca e vi rimando al sito http://manuelarock.weebly.com

Colgo l'occasione per ringraziare tutte le band italiane ed estere che ho per amiche e che puntualmente non mancano di farmi sentire il loro calore. Proprio perchè ci sono band anche straniere che leggono, proverò questi post delle classifiche a scriverli anche nel mio inglese molto maccheronico.

And here we are at the 2012's Charts. Before revealing what were the songs that I preferred in this very troubled 2012, however, prefer to make some assumptions.

My conception of music is outside the standard, if it were to better understand what I mean who does not know certain artists, not to make a distinction about genres. If the music moved me, is on the list, otherwise not. I like to think of endless charts of every music lover.

It must also to be noted that if a song was released recently, is unlikely to be in high position, because he had little time to enter my inside.

There are also songs released on albums of 2011 but which have had a great significance for me in 2012.

There are two important things to remember:

1) The songs that I put on the charts for me are almost all of the numbers 1, because if the high amount of music I listen to, are among the 40/50, then they are definitely world class.

2)  The CD, which for me would be number 1 this year is that of Manuela Rock that cost me so much effort, so much work, but it gave me immense satisfaction. I leave it out of the rankings for "conflict of interest".

I take this opportunity to thank all the bands that I have for Italian and foreign friends that are always there and make me feel their affection.

Just because there are also foreign bands that read, I'll try to write these posts and the charts in my English very "macaronic".

L'indiscusso fascino del passato

Come di consueto, tutte le sere dalle 20 alle 22 ascolto il programma di Zane Lowe sulla BBC Radio 1 inglese. In questa settimana però il bravissimo DJ invece che proporre The Hottest Records ha fatto trasmissioni interamente dedicate ad album storici di cui ricorre l'anniversario proprio in questo 2012.

Il primo di questi lavori è Songs For The Deaf dei  Queens Of The Stone Age, album di cui ricorre il decennale. Fra una chiacchiera e l'altra con Josh Homme è stato trasmesso l'abum per intero; forte di canzoni memorabili come No One Knows, Six Shooter o Another Love Song. 

La sera dopo è toccato ad una pietra miliare, Ill Communication dei Beastie Boys. dal quale si possono ricordare Sabrosa, Bobo On The Corner e quel piccolo capolavoro chiamato Sabotage.

E così via successivamente con gli Arcade Fire, i quali hanno scelto pezzi storici o con un altro album memorabile: Dig Your Own Hole dei Chemical Brothers.

Per non dimenticare poi la puntata della scorsa settimana dedicata al ventennale dell'album omonimo dei  Rage Against The Machine, esordio importantissimo per i losangelini capitanati da Zack De La Rocha contenente autentici inni generazionali come Killing In The Name, Fredoom e Bullet In the Head.

Nel corso delle serate, affascinato da album a mio parere davvero storici, ho iniziato a pensare, collegandomi anche a quanto letto su Retromania, best seller del grandissimo Simon Reynolds. Mi sono quindi chiesto: siamo noi ad essere sempre più attratti dal passato o piuttosto negli ultimi anni non ci sono lavori memorabili come invece uscivano di frequente anni fa?

Quanti degli album degli ultimi 5 anni saranno ricordati come lavori importanti?

Sicuramente la verità sta nel mezzo. E' indubbiamente vero che canzoni del passato sono legate a ricordi e ce le portiamo strette nel cuore. Un album che si ascoltava spesso in un momento positivo della vita ricopre sicuramente un ruolo importante a livello emozionale. 

E' però anche vero che la creatività degli artisti sembra abbia vissuto un periodo di stasi e si stia risvegliando lentamente nell'ultimo biennio. In questo 2012 sono usciti comunque album di grandissimo valore, come ad esempio l'esordio omonimo di Jake Bugg e quello altrettanto importante degli Alt-J col loro An Awesome Wave.

Ma di questo parlerò prossimamente quando arriveranno le classifiche del 2012, divise fra singoli ed album e fra generi musicali.
